  • MARS IN 12TH HOUSE

This happens to be one of my least favorite Mars placements and there are reasons for it. This is not a happy placement to have. They could be one of the nicest people you meet, but they usuallly suffer, mostly out of their goodness, generosity, and need for peace.

i know it sould bizzare but this happens to be a bizzre placement, the worst placement for Mars, worse than Mars 4th.

Mars in 4th is the home guard, Mars in 1 is the Samurai, Mars is 8th is the Ninja, but Mars in 12th is the Ronin.

Mars 12th is the Ronin.

Imagine a soldier in exile. Not on a secret mission like in the 8th house. Not on enemy territory like in the 6th house. But in the 12th house where he is in exile, he does not know what to do with his aggression and energy. And remember the 12th is a very difficult house for most of the planets. Particularly Mars, Shani, and Sun feel lost in it. So three planets which love to be in the 10th house hate to be in the 12th house

Those of you interested in Samurai or Japanese history might be familiar with the term "Ronin." In ancient Japan there were samurai warriors who used to protect their lords. When the samurais were cast away by their masters for whatever reason - could be honour or defeat or the death of the master - they were considered to be absolutely useless and disgraced and dishonoured. A more honourable alternative to becoming a Ronin was to commit suicide as per the ancient code of Japanese warriors called Bushido.

So while Rahu is the ninja, a regular Mars is a samurai but a disgraced Mars, a lost Mars, Mars in the 12th house, a wandering warrior is a ronin.

So I hope you see the clear picture. Ronin lived a difficult life of disgrace and usually poverty. Some of them were able to redeem themselves but most of them had to live through a hard life. And this placement indicates to a tough life. It has its positive points which we will discuss further but overall this is a difficult placement.

One good thing about this placement is I call these guys the go-givers. If Mars in 11th is the go-getter, Mars in 12th is the go-giver.

These guys have a big heart when it comes to charity and giving things away. A lot of energy is spent in giving to their own people as well as to other people. If the chart has certain combinations, these could be the most generous givers that you could ever come across.

They are unselfish to the core, and can write big checks for all kinds of charities. Even can impulsively donate big amounts or gifting costly stuff to their own friends and family, even to strangers if they feel like it.

This helps them eradicate a lot of bad karma. However if done unwisely, they often become victims of cheating, swindling, and people take their money away in several cases of fraud.

They are reckless with their money and often make bad investments. They can also accumulate a lot of debt because of impulsive spending and impulsive giving.

Mars in the 12th house makes them reckless when it comes to managing money and taking debt. They're not able to decide where to say "no" or where to stop.

Behind this is mostly:

  • Lack of financial planning
  • Devil-may-care attitude about expenses
  • Easy with debts
  • Living life moment to moment
  • Impulsive giving

Then this is also considered a Mangalik position which is terrible for the first marriage. Because the seventh house of the first marriage has the eighth aspect of Mars which is terrible. This is what I call a bad kind of Mangalik. These people are not easy to live with as partners

And not just in marriages, even in business partnerships they usually make attract bad partners who end up cheating them. So this is not a great placement for any sort of partnerships

Biggest behavioural problem with these people is unpredictable and disproportionate anger. They are often angry at the wrong thing, in the wrong amount, at the wrong time, and at the wrong people, making them very difficult and unpredictable.

They often keep their anger buried when they are unhappy or angry about something. But in a moment of turmoil, this anger suddenly triggers and strikes like a snake.

12th house Mars often indicates a lack of courage and they usually outsource their aggression or violence to a friend, brother, or someone else. Rich people with this combo often use bodyguards and drivers in order to feel safe.

These guys are escapists who will try to buy peace at any price, thus making them vulnerable to exploitation and blackmail, just in order to keep the peace.

They often get tired easily. They may have a lot of mental agility but physically they are not geared for high-density physical work. It is advised that they take frequent breaks and naps and they do not exert their body.

The one relationship where they give their all is the siblings. They would do anything to keep their family, particularly their siblings, sae. And that's the point where they are willing to go to war and go to any limits. They make great brothers and sisters, especially for the younger siblings.

This is a terrible placement particularly for men to have. Women still find it easy to handle.

I advise them to do Mars related remedies and choose good authenticated causes for their charities. Donating to army or police related charities is a good idea.

I often tell them to limit their access to their money, so that they don’t impulsively blow it up. No loans for them and they should never-ever touch a credit cards.

I also tell them to marry their spouse twice in order to avoid clashes. They should avoid all kinds of partnerships and run solo in life.

Reading Geeta and Mahabharat would let them understand when to use violence and when to back off from a clash.

WISDOM instead of IMPUSLIVENESS is the motto that would save them.

This is a delicate balance for them. It takes a lot of wisdom to handle this placement.

I hope this article helps these natives understanding and managing this better.

God Bless,
